What makes a tight-knit community tight?
In the days before everybody had automobiles, it made sense to put things like shops, cafes, maybe even a little movie theater, right in the neighborhood. Now that everybody has automobiles … we think it still makes sense. So, beginning with our second village, and as this master-planned community grows, and the different villages evolve with their parks and trails and Ranch Houses, you'll also see emerging plans for neighborhood retail districts. Because when you have shopping, dining and entertainment close to home, you might get a little more exercise and spend less on gasoline. You might run into neighbors and friends. And it's a well-known fact that a hazelnut latte tastes even better when you walk to get it.![]()
